Product Warranty Policy

Warranty

Our warranty covers all defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover damages through improper use, negligence, abuse, edge guard damage from contact with the ground or another hard surface(if there are scuff marks on the edge guard it hit the ground), thrown paddles, smashed on the ground paddles, paddles left in hot cars, paddles used in near freezing or below zero temps or accidents where the paddle somehow got run over or thrown in a pond or pool.

Warranty period varies between products and can be found inside the product package. The warranty period begins from the date of purchase unless otherwise noted. This limited warranty is available only to the original purchaser and is valid in the United States and Canada only. Proof of purchase may be requested for a warranty claim. KOBO pickleball ’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement, at its discretion of any defect and does not include any liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damage of any kind.

Pickleball Paddle Limited Warranty

KOBO Sports LLC (“KOBO”) Limited Manufacturer Warranty for USA and CANADA ONLY. Registration is required www.kobopickleball.com/warranty/ within 14 days of purchase to be eligible for the warranty policy.

KOBO warrants the paddles to be free from major defects in workmanship and materials when used for the intended purpose under normal use and conditions FOR A PERIOD OF 4 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF RECEIPT ON ORIGINAL PURCHASE* in the United States and Canada. Warranty is non-transferable and only valid to the original purchaser. Warranty does not apply to replacement paddles.

This warranty covers all manufacturer defects, missing parts, and workmanship.

If during the Limited Warranty period, any part or component of the product is found to be defective, KOBO will, at their own discretion:

Replace the defective part or product with a new part or product (either the same model or of equivalent value).

What is Not Covered

Normal wear and tear of the playing surface, Normal wear, and tear on the edge guard from hitting the playing surface, damage through improper usage, negligence, acts of nature, or accident (including failure to follow the instructions supplied with the product. Don’t play with your paddle in freezing temperatures).

Fading of graphics.

Use in commercial applications or rentals.

Modified or repaired by anyone not authorized by KOBO.

Purchasing from a non-authorized KOBO Rep or purchasing in used condition.

Not being the original purchaser.

Submit a Warranty Claim:

Product must be registered prior to filing a warranty claim.

You must submit a warranty claim by going to https://kobopickleball.com/contact/ and filling out the form to notify the company of the nature of the problem.

Please include your name, address, daytime telephone number, model name of the product, and a description of the problem.

If after the customer contacts us and we confirm the paddle is warrantable the Customer is responsible for shipping the paddle back to KOBO to validate the warranty claim.

If you purchased your paddle directly from https://kobopickleball.com/, you do not have to register your paddle. It was automatically registered at the time of purchase.

Registration is required to have your paddle covered by the limited warranty policy.
